According to Espreso.tv: Ukraine's State Service for Ethnopolitics and Freedom of Conscience (DESS) has issued a formal order to the Pochayiv Lavra, demanding that it break all connections with the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC) and leave the Kyiv Metropolis of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC-MP). This directive follows a government inspection conducted from June 24 to July 21. The inspection concluded that the Lavra operates as a structural subunit of the UOC, with the Kyiv Metropolis determined to be affiliated with the ROC. As a result, the DESS now requires the monastery to submit documentary proof of its disassociation from the UOC's Kyiv Metropolis.
