School Renovation
The director of the sports school in the Desnyan district of the capital signed a contract for the renovation of the premises with a contracting organization. However, the work specified in the contract was not fully completed. The suspect signed the acts of completed work, although he knew that they contained false information about the cost and materials.
After signing the acts, the contractor received payment, resulting in nearly 750 thousand hryvnias in losses for the Kyiv budget. The director of the institution has been named a suspect of misappropriating someone else's property by abusing his official position, in large amounts and under conditions of martial law.
Additionally, the general director of the enterprise 'Forests of Ukraine' has been notified of suspicion of illegal enrichment, and a KMDAs official and the director of the capital market were found receiving a bribe of 25 thousand dollars.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated regarding the embezzlement of funds for the renovation of the children's sports school 'Kozak' in Kyiv, and suspects have been named. Detecting such cases is an important step in the fight against corruption and abuse of power, which helps maintain public order and citizens' trust in state institutions.
