The application ‘Diia’ was recognized as one of the best inventions in the world in the category of applications and software according to Time magazine. This was reported by the Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov.

Every year, Time selects 200 inventions that change the world. ‘Diia’ was included in the Time Best Inventions 2024 list in the category of applications and software. This invention received an award for online marriage registration, the world's first digital wedding process.

Fedorov also noted that among the award recipients were OpenAI GPT-4, Zoom, and Duolingo.

The Minister expressed gratitude to the team that works around the clock to achieve such results, and to the users for their support of the idea, use of the services, creation of memes about them, and showcasing ‘Diia’ to foreigners. Fedorov also pointed out that users constantly provide feedback, which is not always positive, but it is important because they are always listened to in order to become better.

Let us recall that six new services will soon be available in the ‘Diia’ application. This was reported by the Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov.

Additionally, the ‘Diia’ app has made it possible to join the Drone Army. After submitting an application, a person will be transferred to the selected unit, and basic military training will be conducted with the signed contract. Service readiness is confirmed independently at the application stage, so the VLK is not mandatory.

Previously, the ‘Diia’ app launched a barcode scanning function for products to check their participation in the ‘National Cashback’ program.

On September 9, the Ministry of Digital launched online marriage in the ‘Diia’ app. From now on, getting married can be done in just a few clicks. Fedorov noted that thanks to this online marriage, military personnel and couples who are far apart can get married regardless of circumstances, distances between cities or even countries.
