Russia-US negotiations on the war: the next round is planned in Moscow.
According to ТСН: Kirill Dmitriev, representative of Russian President Vladimir Putin, concluded negotiations with American colleagues in Florida, where they discussed the possibilities for a peaceful resolution of the conflict in Ukraine. He hinted at the possibility of the next stage of negotiations.
Dmitriev mentioned this in his post on social media X.
«Thank you, Miami. Next time: Moscow»
It should be noted that on December 20, the Russian side characterized the negotiations with the USA as 'constructive'. According to Russian media, a meeting between Dmitriev and Ukrainian representatives is not planned.
Possible reasons for the negotiations
American expert Zbigniew Brzezinski believes that Vladimir Putin could be forced to return to negotiations only in the event of a threat of loss of territories or within the framework of an agreement that allows control over Ukraine.
These negotiations underscore the complexity of the situation, as the activation of dialogue between Russia and the USA may indicate changes in approaches to peaceful resolution. However, the absence of a meeting with the Ukrainian side leaves open questions regarding Russia's real intentions and possible developments in the region.
