Up to 3600 hryvnias: Ukrainians can apply for UN assistance, how to do it.
The United Nations (UN) provides Ukrainian citizens with the opportunity to receive assistance. This is available both online and offline.
In order to help Ukrainians in difficult economic conditions due to the conflict in the country, the UN has increased financial assistance. These funds are intended for paying temporary housing, providing food, and purchasing personal hygiene items.
From October 1, individuals who meet certain vulnerability criteria will receive 3,600 hryvnias for each household member, instead of 2,200 hryvnias.
Internally displaced persons, affected populations, and foster families, among other vulnerability categories, can apply for assistance. It is also necessary to meet socio-economic criteria and have a monthly income of less than 5,400 hryvnias per family member.
Besides this, it is important to consider that if a person is already receiving assistance from another UN organization, they may be denied additional financial assistance. The conclusion on the assistance will also depend on the already submitted information about receiving other support.
To receive assistance from the UN, one needs to contact a special center in their region.
Details regarding addresses and schedules of registration points can be found on the organization's website.
Consultation can also be obtained by phone or through the Telegram channel.
