Moderate (Level 3) fire risk is recorded in Bohodukhiv, Kolomak, and Izium, while Velykyi Burluk, Berestyn, and Lozova face low (Level 2) or no significant danger.
Looking ahead, June 1 is expected to bring cloudy skies and brief rain showers. Nighttime temperatures will range from +5°C to +10°C, with daytime highs reaching +14°C to +19°C. By June 2, forecasters predict an improvement, with daytime temperatures climbing to +18°C to +23°C.
Residents of Kharkiv region should therefore prepare for shifting weather patterns, including both rainfall and rising temperatures in the coming days.
The contrasting conditions—cool, damp weather alongside elevated fire risk—pose particular challenges for agriculture, especially regarding early harvests. At the same time, the high fire danger classification underscores the need for strict safety precautions, as even minor weather shifts could spark wildfires.
The expected improvement in early June weather may also benefit the region’s epidemiological situation by reducing drought likelihood and creating more favorable conditions for vegetation growth.
