Oschadbank explained how refugees abroad can restore access to mobile banking.
Some clients of 'Oschadbank' who left the country due to the war faced issues accessing the 'Oschad24/7' mobile application. This concerns those who cannot use the financial phone number associated with their card.
The bank indicated on its Facebook page how to resolve this situation.
Refugees' issues with accessing Oschadbank
One client reported that the bank's system requires video identification, but she cannot undergo this procedure remotely due to being abroad and losing the phone number linked to her card.
The woman asked for advice on how to link a new number to her card to use the bank's services.
'How can I sign up for video identification if I am currently abroad? The financial phone number of the card is no longer valid, I have changed to a new one — Viber blocked the mobile application, the bot does not see my card... How can I pass identification?'— she noted.
What Oschadbank says
According to the bank's information, the client's financial number can be changed at the bank's office or using an ATM. It is also possible through a representative, but under certain conditions — if the power of attorney clearly states the right to change the client's number.
Complications with access to the 'Oschad24/7' financial application arose for clients who left Ukraine due to the war and currently reside abroad. Bank employees advised on how to restore access to the mobile application and link a new phone number to the card for convenient use of banking services.
