Military operation in the Oryol region

Tonight, the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck the Bolkhov Semiconductor Plant in the Oryol region. This plant was an important component of the Russian military industry, specializing in the development and production of electronic devices for radio electronics.

The Bolkhov plant produces chips, semiconductors, indicators, microassemblies, and 'eternal batteries' for radio electronic equipment. Its products are used in communication systems, control, EW, and in equipment for tanks and missile systems, collaborating with the military concern 'Sutoria' and other defense industry structures.

The plant, which has been under international sanctions, continues its active operations, producing up to 3 million devices annually and employing about 700 workers. This military operation is one of many taking place in various cities of Ukraine, where the enemy is trying to harm national security and sovereignty.
