Two-year-old girl from Odesa set a swimming record.

Two-year-old Anya Yakimchuk from Chornomorsk, Odesa region, became the youngest child in Ukraine to swim a distance of 50 meters freestyle. In 3 minutes and 6 seconds, the girl completed this task. This was reported by the head of the National Register of Records of Ukraine, Lana Vietrova, on her Facebook page.
Information about Anya's achievement was provided by Vietrova with the following words: "Two-year-old Anya Yakimchuk jumps into the pool with such a scream that we already thought of saving her. But it turned out that this crazy excitement of the girl always comes from contact with water. She swims in an adult sports pool, and goes to the children's pool just to play. She swam the distance needed to set the record, seemingly without much effort. She did not need sweets or new toys, which coaches sometimes hold in front of a child in the water to make them paddle harder".
According to Vietrova, Anya, who became Ukraine's new record holder, is two years and six months old. Her achievement was classified in the nomination "The youngest child to swim a distance of 50 meters freestyle". Time - 3 minutes and 6 seconds.
The trophy was awarded to the second trainee of coach Ihor Konstantinov, who received this record.
Let's recall that almost 6,000 participants from 136 schools in the capital, together with rescuers, broke the record of Ukraine by participating in the most large-scale safety lesson.
