According to inkorr.com: On Sunday, a concert by Ukrainian singer Jamala took place at the Katara Opera House in Doha, where she presented works from her album 'QIRIM'. This album serves as a true musical encyclopedia of Crimea, combining the ethnic heritage of the Crimean Tatar people with modern symphonic sounds.
The event became the largest cultural project in the history of relations between Ukraine and Qatar, as well as one of the most significant performances by Ukrainian artists in the Gulf region. The concert was attended by members of the diplomatic corps, government officials, and members of the Ukrainian community in Qatar.
The event was organized by the Ukrainian Institute, the Embassy of Ukraine in Qatar, the Katara Cultural Foundation, the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra, and the International Network of Public Diplomacy. Photos by Nina Soloviyova.
