Dangerous situation at the airfield

According to The Sun: The EasyJet aircraft narrowly avoided disaster as another plane approached it on the runway at just ten feet away.

A Nouvelair plane from Tunisia preparing to land had to engage full throttle to avoid colliding with EasyJet, which was also preparing to take off at the French airport.

Situation at Nice airport

Pilots of the Tunisian Airbus likely made an error while attempting to land on the wrong runway at Nice airport, where there are two parallel runways situated closely together. According to The Times, the planes nearly collided at a speed of 170 miles per hour, making this incident one of the most dangerous in aviation.

The French Minister of Transport, Philippe Tabaro, noted that a disaster was narrowly averted. Both flights were carrying approximately 300 passengers.

The airport management placed the blame on the pilots of the Tunisian aircraft, stating: “It appears that the Nouvelair pilot made a mistake.”

It is known that the pilots of flight EasyJet 4706, which was headed to Nantes, were so shaken by the incident that they decided not to continue the flight. One passenger told local media that the captain was in “an apparent state of shock.”

“The plane was already ready for takeoff when we heard a huge noise from engines nearby,” added the passenger.

Problems with another EasyJet aircraft

This incident occurred after the EasyJet pilot was suspended for flying too close to a mountain, putting himself in a dangerous situation while descending to the resort town of Hurghada in Egypt.

Additionally, passengers were forced to leave the plane when it collided with a tug vehicle before takeoff. Emergency services were called to the runway at Manchester airport following the collision of the EasyJet flight to Lanzarote with ground transport.

The aircraft was preparing for departure from terminal No.1, but passengers were sent back to the terminal for a security check. It is known that the EasyJet tug vehicle collided with the front wheels of the aircraft during its pushback from the stand.

Many dissatisfied vacationers were evacuated from the plane as numerous emergency services arrived at the scene.

This incident highlights the importance of awareness and proper coordination in aviation operations. Given the high demand for air transport, such cases can lead to serious consequences. It is crucial for airlines and airports to take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of both passengers and crew during flights.
