Russian Black Sea Fleet Prepares for Relocation as Occupied Kherson Region Loses All Power.
Kherson Region in Crisis
According to Espreso.tv: All districts within the occupied Kherson region are currently experiencing either total or partial blackouts, according to Vladimir Saldo, the region's Moscow-appointed governor. This widespread power failure stems from the escalation of military operations across Ukraine.
Ukrainian Defense Forces Strike Back
On May 27, Ukrainian defense forces launched a strike against the aviation headquarters of Russia's Black Sea Fleet, located on Gogol Street in Sevastopol. This attack is part of a broader campaign to eliminate key enemy military assets. As of the morning of June 14, Ukrainian forces have also dismantled a network of drone launch sites in Pokrovsk.
Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian troops repelled 229 Russian assaults and eliminated 1,440 Russian soldiers. Additionally, air defense systems successfully shot down 91 out of 98 enemy attack drones. These operations underscore the ongoing intensity of combat in the region and the escalating stakes of the conflict.
The situation in the Kherson region and across Ukraine remains highly volatile, as intensified fighting causes significant shifts in territorial control and severely impacts civilian infrastructure. The power outage poses a grave challenge for local residents enduring the consequences of war. Ukraine's sustained efforts to destroy military targets reflect its determination to strengthen its defensive positions and reduce the threat posed by Russian forces.
