London has been awarded the title of the best city in the world in 2024 according to the World's 100 Best Cities program. This award has been granted for the tenth consecutive year by analysts.

Experts noted the features of the metropolis, its vibrant nightlife, historical heritage, and attractiveness for both locals and tourists.

“London, the legendary metropolis, has once again topped the ranking of the best cities in the world for 2024, securing first place for the 10th consecutive year. Well navigating the complexities of the post-Brexit era, geopolitical uncertainty, and economic challenges, the resilient spirit and unparalleled global appeal of London have strengthened its position at the top of our annual ranking,” the experts state.

New York is in second place in the ranking. The city impressed researchers with its developed business ecosystem and diverse opportunities for cultural leisure.

“The city's ability to recover after the pandemic is remarkable. Just a few years ago, the offices in the city were empty, and tourism had sharply declined. But now, during a powerful resurgence, rental prices in Manhattan have surged to an all-Time high, with the average rent reaching $5000 per month. This indicates the demand for first-class housing and confirms New York's enduring appeal to both locals and foreigners,” the World's 100 Best Cities stated.

Paris ranks third in the list. Researchers note that the capital of France drew the most attention last summer. The city continues to impress with its forward-looking initiatives and rethinking of life.

The top ten ranking also includes Tokyo, Singapore, Rome, Madrid, Barcelona, Berlin, and Sydney. World's 100 Best Cities annually evaluates metropolises based on various factors such as infrastructure, cultural resources, business activity, and quality of life.

Interestingly, Bialystok, a Polish city that hardly attracts tourists, was recognized as one of the best places to live in Europe based on residents' surveys. Its high standard of living has won the hearts of many residents, who reported improvements in their quality of life in the city.
