Ukraine does not ask for NATO's military involvement, but asks for weapons and support
The Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, stated that Ukraine has never asked NATO to participate in the war, but asks for weapons and material support. In an interview with the Italian newspaper Corriere Della Sera, he added that Ukraine is a responsible and reliable country.
«It is Russian propaganda that accuses us of dragging the world into war. We fight alone, of course, our partners help us, but we ask for weapons and material support. In almost three years, we have shown that the assistance is absolutely effective», – said Yermak.
Yermak also noted that heroic Ukrainian warriors sacrifice for the protection of Europe and the international order.
«And it is time for you not to hesitate anymore, to quickly provide us with weapons and ammunition in the right quantity. This is important for ensuring the balance of forces on the field, and only then can Ukraine conduct serious negotiations with Russia», – emphasized the head of the Office of the President.
Earlier, a NATO representative explained why Ukraine is not yet invited to the Alliance.
