Over 6,500 Adults Still in Danger Zones of Dnipropetrovsk Region as Evacuation Gets Underway.
Adult Evacuation from High-Risk Areas
According to Espreso.tv: Following the successful evacuation of children, authorities have now launched a campaign to move adults out of hazardous areas in the Dnipropetrovsk region. According to the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, more than 6,500 adults remain in these dangerous zones. Governor Oleksandr Hanzha announced the initiative, underscoring its importance for public safety in the region.
Transit Centers and Support for Displaced Residents
The region currently operates five transit hubs to assist evacuees:
- two in Dnipro
- one in Pavlohrad
- one in Voloske
- one in Stepove
These centers provide a wide range of services, including financial, legal, psychological, and medical aid, as well as food and hygiene kits. Accommodation for internally displaced persons has already been arranged in safer parts of the region and in other areas of the country.
