Finland Launches Artist Residency: Monthly Grants Up to €3,800 and a Two-Month Stay.
Saari Residency 2027 Program
According to Novyny.live: Finland has announced the 'Saari Residency 2027' program, offering artists a two-month working period with financial backing. This initiative targets professional artists, creative duos, and art groups looking to advance their projects in a supportive environment.
Applications must be submitted by March 31, 2026. Participants can receive monthly grants ranging from €2,700 to €3,800. For groups, individual payments will vary between €800 and €3,200. A minimum stay of 42 days at the residency is required.
The selected participants will be revealed on June 17, 2026. Notably, refugees from Ukraine are eligible for an additional €300 in their first year. Ukrainian citizens can also enter Finland without a visa if they hold a biometric passport.
