According to Espreso.tv: Ukraine’s Armed Forces General Staff has released its latest battlefield summary, detailing enemy shelling and combat engagements across multiple sectors as of 4:00 PM. The report highlights intensified hostile activity in several areas, along with widespread artillery strikes on civilian settlements. This update comes amid ongoing Russian offensives in eastern and northeastern Ukraine, where Ukrainian defenders continue to hold defensive lines.

Shelling of Civilian Areas

In the Sumy region, the following villages came under fire:

  • Ryzhevka
  • Korenyok
  • Bachivsk
  • Sopych
  • Rogizne
  • Bunyachine
  • Yastrubshchyna
  • Bezsalivka
  • Atinske
  • Vilna Sloboda

Shelling was also reported in Hremyach, Chernihiv region. On the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk axes, Ukrainian forces recorded 5 combat clashes and 30 shelling incidents.

On the Southern Slobozhansky axis, the enemy launched 5 assaults near Veterinarne, Lyman, Izbyske, and Ternova. In the Kupiansk sector, 2 attacks were directed toward Novoosynove and the Petropavlivka area. The Lyman axis saw 4 attempted advances by Russian troops, while on the Sloviansk front, Ukrainian units successfully repelled an enemy push toward Kryva Luka.

Notably, no offensive actions were recorded on the Kramatorsk axis, a positive sign in the daily report. However, on the Kostiantynivka axis, 4 attacks occurred near Pleshchiivka. The Pokrovsk sector experienced the highest activity, with 19 attempts to dislodge Ukrainian positions. On the Oleksandrivka axis, 2 enemy advances were attempted toward Kalynivske.

In the Huliaipole sector, the enemy carried out 18 attacks, with 5 combat engagements still ongoing. Meanwhile, on the Orikhiv axis, no active offensive maneuvers were detected. The overall situation remains tense, as Ukrainian forces continue to mount an active defense against aggressor actions.

The General Staff’s report underscores the dynamic nature of the frontline, marked by persistent shelling and enemy assault attempts across multiple directions.
