According to the information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the situation at the border near the Sumy region is under the control of the Defense Forces. False information about the enemy's advance into the depths of the region has been reported on the 'Glavkom' website.

Russian occupiers are trying to penetrate Ukrainian border areas in small groups, but they are unable to reach populated areas due to the effective defense system and coordinated actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Unlike the enemy's orders, they affect Ukrainian society by spreading propaganda narratives to discredit the military command and create panic and despair among Ukrainians.

The Ukrainian military continues to carry out tasks in designated areas of the Kursk region, which has significantly diverted a large number of Russian troops from other directions. As a result of the destruction of bridges carried out by the Russians, Ukrainian forces had to abandon their positions in the Kursk region and refocus on the heights near the border to hinder the advance of Russian troops into the Sumy region.
