Hermanets replied what is needed for business inspections.
The head of the Financial Committee of the Verkhovna Rada, Danilo Hermanets, believes that a radical change in the approach to business inspections in Ukraine is necessary. He states that it is essential to reboot the bodies responsible for this issue to create a clear and effective system.
In his interview, Danilo Hermanets emphasized that the problem lies in the 'clan system' that has formed in Ukraine over many years.
Hermanets' Initiative
According to the deputy, rebooting the bodies that control business is a critically important step to ensure transparency and legality in their activities. He noted: 'All these corrupt officials, who are connected through horizontal ties, feed off the shadow, and they distort law enforcement in such a way that it works to their advantage.'
It is worth noting that soon the government may announce a moratorium on business inspections, as reported by Yulia Svyrydenko. This initiative has already been discussed with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, but law enforcement agencies will retain the right to inspect companies that violate legislation.
