Czech Foreign Minister Again in Ukraine: What His Message Is About.
The head of the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Jan Lipavsky, arrived in Ukraine for a working visit, which was his sixth visit to our country. The diplomat announced this on Monday, August 11, on his social media page “X”.
Why Lipavsky Came to Ukraine
Lipavsky named the main message of his visit to Ukraine: “The Czech Republic will not withdraw its support for Ukrainians in the fight against the Russian aggressor.” The diplomat also emphasized the importance of Ukraine remaining free and that decisions on joining the EU and NATO should be made by their members, not Vladimir Putin.
Recently, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky had a phone conversation with Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Petr Fiala, expressing gratitude for the support, particularly for the initiative to provide Ukrainian military with artillery. It was also announced that new packages of military assistance from the Czech Republic for Ukraine, which will cover various military equipment, have arrived.
In summary, the head of the Czech MFA, Jan Lipavsky, visited Ukraine to reaffirm the country's support in the fight against the Russian aggressor and to highlight the importance of maintaining Ukraine's freedom and its path towards the Euro-Atlantic community. New packages of military assistance from the Czech Republic were also announced to complement the existing support for the Ukrainian military.
