According to UATV: On July 12, 2023, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy convened a meeting with Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov. The session focused on executing defense objectives, strengthening air defense capabilities, and restructuring Ukraine's Armed Forces. During the talks, Zelenskyy highlighted what has already been accomplished on specific defense tasks and explored

“what additional organizational changes, decisions, and agreements with partners could further fortify Ukraine.”

“bolster air defense, especially to shield our cities and villages from Russian terror using various types of drones.”

Zelenskyy also stressed the necessity of continuing reforms across all processes within Ukraine's Defense Forces to sustain troop morale and ensure combat brigades are fully staffed.

“The transformation of all processes in the Defense Forces of Ukraine must continue—measures that can support our soldiers' motivation and provide personnel for combat brigades,”
he stated.
