The Head of ARMA Supported the Controversial Law on NABU and SAP.
The Head of the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA), Olena Duma, publicly supported Law No. 12414, which changes the subordination of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP). The changes are aimed at cleaning up the anti-corruption system.
Her statement was made on Telegram on July 23.
Duma Supported the Law on NABU
Duda stated that these changes are aimed at cleaning the anti-corruption system from external influences and establishing order in the country.
'The state has taken the right steps. Order is being established in the country. I support the draft law 12414',— she wrote.
The Head of ARMA emphasized that the anti-corruption infrastructure must operate without the influence of Russia, and all state and law enforcement bodies should work harmoniously.
'This pseudo-reform was promoted by familiar faces who used international partners, not providing them with truthful information. They formed an image of Ukraine as a 'corrupt state' to receive more funds for themselves',— the message states.
She emphasized that ARMA remains part of the anti-corruption system created at the demand of the EU and international partners, and fulfills its mission despite attempts at discreditation.
'Today, the Ukrainian anti-corruption system is stronger than ever. I am confident that true justice and the rule of law will overcome all manipulations',— added the head of ARMA.
Earlier, the 'Servant of the People' party acknowledged that they understand public outrage over the law on NABU and SAP. The faction assured that they are ready to join a joint action plan to regulate the situation.

Supporting the law on changes in subordination of NABU and SAP, the head of ARMA noted the importance of cleansing the anti-corruption system from external influences and creating stability in the country.
