Business and Training Grants of Up to $5,000 Now Available in Kharkiv Region
According to Novyny.live: Residents and small businesses in the Kharkiv region can now apply for grants aimed at fostering entrepreneurship and professional development. This initiative is designed to provide financial support and create opportunities for economic growth in the area.
Business grants of up to $5,000 are available for improving working conditions, while community residents can receive up to $2,000 for education or retraining. The application deadline for this program is February 28, 2026. Grants are open to residents of the following districts:
- Berestianskyi
- Kharkivskyi
- Lozivskyi
- Bohodukhivskyi
- Chuhuivskyi
This program is part of broader efforts to rebuild and strengthen local economies in Ukraine following the war. Furthermore, the grants require co-financing of at least 20% from recipients. Training programs can last up to six months, allowing participants to gain new knowledge and skills for future advancement. Business grants are specifically targeted at several priority groups, including:
- Veterans
- Citizens aged 50 and over
- Internally displaced persons
- Single parents
- People with disabilities
The initiative aims to stimulate the region's economic development, create new jobs, and enhance the population's qualifications.
