Ukrainians with disabilities due to the war will receive up to 800,000: who will receive assistance.
Ukrainian citizens can receive government payments of up to 800,000 UAH depending on the group of disability that resulted from injuries sustained during the war. The rules for submitting applications and the amounts of payments are known.
Who is eligible for payments of up to 800,000 UAH
One-time state cash assistance is available for citizens who have become disabled due to wounds or illnesses during the military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. Among those eligible for payments are employees of critical infrastructure facilities and officials.
Assistance can be granted to family members of the deceased, including children, widows, parents, grandchildren, individuals who lived with the deceased as family members, and other dependents.
The amounts of assistance depend on the group of disability:
- first group - 800,000 UAH;
- second group - 500,000 UAH;
- third group - 200,000 UAH;
- in case of death - 1,000,000 UAH.
Rules for submitting an application for cash assistance
Citizens have the right to assistance within three years from the date of acquisition. To receive assistance, one should contact the Pension Fund office or submit an application online.
Documents required for assistance application:
- passport;
- ID code;
- investigation report/special investigation report;
- other documents confirming the family relationship and circumstances of death;
- other information in accordance with the requirements of legislation.
