HUR destroyed all servers of a key company of the Russian army.

HUR MOF conducts a cyberattack on the Russian company 'RegionTransService'

On January 4, the birthday of the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov, HUR carried out a cyberattack on the Russian company 'RegionTransService'. As a result of this attack, all servers of the company were shut down.

According to Ukrinform, HUR cyber specialists struck at the infrastructure services of the aggressor state, particularly at the leading service company that services freight cars and supports the activities of the occupying army of the Russian Federation.

As a result of this cyberattack, 78 servers and 211 workstations were destroyed, and important data backup copies were deleted.

The company 'RegionTransService' provides a full range of services at all stages of the lifecycle of wagons, including registration with the Russian railway and disposal. It is one of the key companies that ensures the transportation of military cargo for conducting combat operations against Ukraine.

Earlier, a naval drone of HUR accomplished a unique feat in the world - it destroyed an occupant's helicopter.
