Arrest of Nicolas Maduro
According to The Sun: When Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro appeared before lawmakers in a federal court in New York, he claimed he was 'kidnapped' by US special forces and insolently assured:
“I am an honest person.”
However, this socialist despot is accused of leading a ruthless drug cartel in South America, responsible for exporting 75 percent of the cocaine that reaches Europe.
The situation surrounding Maduro remains tense as accusations of drug trafficking attract the attention not only of the international community but also disturb many countries opposing his regime. It should be noted that the effects of his political decisions and actions have serious consequences not only for Venezuela but also for the region and beyond.
