The CEO of 'Ukrposhta' will continue to perform duties
The head of 'Ukrposhta' Ihor Smiliansky has received a new position as a government commissioner for customs reform. However, he stated that he would not resign from the duties of the general director of the company and will continue to work on improving postal services: speeding up delivery, reducing queues, creating a postal bank, etc. At the same time, Smiliansky stated that he would not receive payment for his work on a public basis.
The head of 'Ukrposhta' emphasized that he will continue to visit the company's team working in combat zones, as it gives him energy. He also stated that in the coming months he would not provide detailed information about his activities in his new position as he wishes to achieve results rather than engage in public relations. The head of 'Ukrposhta' promises to comment on his work only in case of pressure from other individuals.
The appointment of Ihor Smiliansky to the new position of government commissioner for customs reform was made by the Cabinet of Ministers.
