Flight cancellations will affect jobs

According to The Sun: The future of hundreds of jobs is at risk as one of the major airlines cancels long-haul flights from Manchester Airport. Passengers planning trips from this airport to Barbados, Orlando, and New York (JFK) will not be able to purchase tickets with this airline from March 31.

“On our part, we tried to find alternatives to keep these flights, but the circumstances have made it impossible,”
- said company representatives.

This situation creates additional difficulties for local economies, as the reduction of flights may negatively impact tourism and passenger services. The flight cancellations will lead to decreased airport traffic and reduced tourist flows, which could adversely affect businesses that depend on tourism.
