Among the numerous fans of the establishment are celebrities like Will Smith, David Beckham, and even Barack Obama, who once left a 100 percent tip after dining at this venue.

“Coyo Taco is not just a restaurant, it's a cultural experience,” Ritti said.
“Soulful, fun, and full of energy, it stands out from other establishments in the UK market.”
A New Competitor
Wahaca has long been the most well-known network of Mexican street food in the UK, founded in 2007, with vibrant decor, sustainable values, and creative dishes.
But the arrival of Coyo Taco promises a new twist for taco enthusiasts.
Sven Fogtland, one of the founders of Coyo Taco, praised Kuvi's ambitions and the power of investments, noting that this is not just one restaurant, but a launchpad for expansion across the country.
Expansion of American Fast-Foods in the UK
Among other American fast-foods gradually opening in the UK are Dave’s Hot Chicken. The Wendy's chain, known in the USA with over 6,000 restaurants, plans to open 400 new locations.
This chain returned to UK streets in 2021 after a 20-year hiatus, becoming popular for its square hamburgers.
The Chick-fil-A chain is also opening its establishments in the UK this year.
In 2021, Popeyes entered the UK market and has already opened over 38 restaurants in 30 months, with plans to reach 60 locations by the end of 2024.
Shake Shack, which started its operations selling hot dogs, recently opened its first restaurant at a British railway station.
Now passengers at St. Pancras International station can enjoy their favorite burgers before departure.
This new establishment became the 16th location of the chain in the UK since its opening in Covent Garden in 2013.
Shake Shack is expanding not only in London but also in other cities like Essex, Oxford, and Cardiff.
Dunkin' Donuts, which already has 30 stores in the UK, plans to open another 30 branches in the coming couple of years as part of a large expansion plan.
Thus, Coyo Taco will join a number of other popular American brands that are actively growing in the UK market and may become an interesting new option for fans of Mexican cuisine. The arrival of this eatery also indicates a growing interest of Brits in foreign culinary traditions, which continually expands the gastronomic map of the country.
