Changes After Pension Indexation in Ukraine
Pension expert Serhiy Korobkin reported how the situation will change for different categories of pensioners after the indexation of payments starting from March 1, 2025. According to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, pensions will increase by 11.5%. However, the indexation has its peculiarities for different groups of recipients. In particular, pensions ranging from 4,000 to 15,000 hryvnias will increase by 11.5%, while the minimum subsistence level will remain unchanged. Recipients of minimum pensions will also receive an increase of 11.5%. However, the lowest pension payment will remain at the level of the subsistence minimum. For recipients of special pensions, an increase in payments is also anticipated. Important changes also concern pensions appointed in 2021-2024, which will also be indexed.
