Do not delay with the submission of documents: Ukrainians are urged to urgently apply for payments.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has informed citizens about the mandatory submission of documents for receiving payments from the state.
According to official explanations, relatives of deceased or missing military personnel have the right to receive various types of payments, including monthly monetary provision, additional rewards, health assistance, and compensation for unused vacation days.
These payments can be received by the relatives or legal heirs of the deceased military personnel. For this, they need to submit an application along with bank details for the transfer of funds.
Payments are made in the order of priority established by law. This means that the relatives and children of the deceased military personnel receive almost all amounts, and then - the parents, if there are no other persons in the first queue.
Necessary documents must be submitted within three years after the death of the military personnel or after the court ruling on their acknowledgment as missing. If these deadlines are not met, payments will not be made.
The Ministry of Defense urges families not to delay the submission of documents, as this is their right and a way to honor the memory of the deceased and receive real support during a difficult time.
