Political consequences of the strike
Within 48 hours of the new escalation in the Middle East, Israel announced it had achieved air superiority over the western part of Iran, including Tehran. The situation is compared to the unattained achievements of Russian forces during the war against Ukraine.
U.S. and Israeli officials state that the conflict with Iran could last weeks, not days. Some believe that the operation has some support from the White House, while the U.S. President himself expresses support for an agreement between Israel and Iran.
After the airstrike, Israel announced it had achieved air superiority over the western part of Iran, including Tehran, emphasizing the similarity to events during the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. Political expectations regarding the duration of the conflict and a possible agreement between Israel and Iran remain ambiguous, causing tension on the international stage.Read also
