According to inkorr.com: The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has raised the salaries of medical workers treating in areas of active and potential combat. Benefits for resettling internally displaced persons (IDPs) and financing infrastructure have also been approved. This was reported by

after visiting Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

Salaries of medical workers in active combat zones

Medical workers providing assistance in combat zones will receive significantly higher salaries:

  • Doctors – 40,000 UAH;

  • Average medical staff – 27,000 UAH;

  • Junior medical staff – 18,000 UAH.

Salaries of medical workers in areas of potential combat

In areas of potential combat, salaries will be as follows:

  • 28,000 UAH for doctors;

  • 18,000 UAH for average staff;

  • 9,000 UAH for junior medical staff.

Additional government solutions for frontline regions

In addition to

raising salaries
, the government has also adopted other important decisions for frontline regions:
  • Preferential rental conditions for resettling IDPs have been introduced: 1 UAH per m² for state and municipal enterprises, 3% of the cost – for public and charitable organizations.

  • Infrastructure financing: 333 million UAH for fortifications in Sumy region, 96 million UAH for water supply in Dnipropetrovsk region, 128 million UAH for restoring critical infrastructure of the region, and 58 million UAH for repairing the Second Donetsk water pipeline.

  • Allocation of grants for equipping shelters in military lyceums and institutions with enhanced military-physical training.

These decisions aim to support not only medical workers but also internally displaced persons, which is especially relevant in wartime. The increase in salaries for medical workers in dangerous zones reflects the state's desire to provide proper support to those who risk their lives daily to save others. Financing infrastructure aims to improve living conditions in frontline regions and enhance the resilience of local communities.
