Zelensky to appoint new governors: who will lead four regions.
According to ТСН: The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine conducted interviews with candidates for the positions of heads of Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, and Chernivtsi regional military administrations and sent relevant submissions to the President of Ukraine.
Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko reported this on Telegram. She noted that these personnel changes are part of the reboot of the management system at the local level initiated by President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Main tasks of the new leaders
Svyrydenko emphasized that important tasks for the new heads of the regions include improving the resilience of the regions, especially those near the front line. These tasks involve:
- effective organization of defense;
- support for veterans;
- stable operation of the educational sector;
- interaction with industry;
- community development.
It is worth noting that earlier President Volodymyr Zelensky continued to implement personnel changes and planned to appoint new heads of regional administrations in five regions.
These personnel changes are an important part of the reform of local governance in Ukraine aimed at increasing the efficiency and resilience of the regions in the face of current challenges. Engaging new leaders aims to strengthen relations between state structures and local communities, as well as improve the standard of living for residents in various regions.
