The Cabinet is developing an updated system of economic reservation from mobilization.
The government is developing a new model of economic reservation from mobilization, which should consider the needs of the economy and defense. This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during his speech at the Kyiv International Economic Forum.
According to the head of the government, the existing system of economic reservation is criticized by the military on the front line. "If we talk about economic reservation as the payment of a certain amount of money, then this is unfair. Therefore, the criteria and parameters should satisfy the Armed Forces and business," emphasized Shmyhal.
The new model may be based on a single salary for all regions. In addition, the government plans to establish new rules for determining the criticality of enterprises. "We will introduce absolutely transparent, clear, unambiguous, without subjectivity, reservation parameters," noted the Prime Minister.
Shmyhal also reported that most summonses through the "Oberig" registry are received by individuals who do not work or do not pay taxes.
President Volodymyr Zelensky previously stated the lack of fair proposals regarding economic reservation. At the same Time, according to the head of the parliamentary Committee on Finance, Danylo Hetmantsev, the payment of money will not exempt from military service.
Ukrainians were also explained to whom summonses are primarily sent: those who do not pay and do not work.
