Kamaliya revealed how Zaluzhny's advice changed her life.
Ukrainian singer Kamaliya shared that at the beginning of the war, she planned to go to the front line, so as not to live under the same roof with her husband's daughter Zahur from a previous marriage. The artist mentioned this in an interview with Fokus.
Valeriy Zaluzhny, the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, dissuaded Kamaliya from this idea. "I was invited to a meeting with Zaluzhny. He seated me in front of him and said: "You understand, if you sign the contract, you won't be able to leave. And what about the children? You are first and foremost a mother. You are a volunteer, you do a lot for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, for people. Your mission is to bring joy to people, to help humanitarianly, to be a mother," shared the singer.
After this conversation, Kamaliya decided not to sign the contract. She still maintains contact with Zaluzhny, who also provided items with his autograph for charity auctions.
Kamaliya believes that the divorce from her husband Mohammad Zahur was the result of the influence of his daughter from a previous marriage. The singer claims that insults that were constantly repeated affected their marriage. Moreover, Zahur made a mistake by bringing Kamaliya and their daughters under one roof with his children from the first marriage.
Earlier, Kamaliya revealed that four years ago she experienced an oncological disease and underwent clinical death.
