Up to 15% Cashback and Subsidies: What Ukrainians Can Expect in 2026.
Ukraine's Financial Aid Programs Get a Major Overhaul
According to Novyny.live: In 2026, Ukraine is rolling out updated financial assistance programs that include cashback on purchases and driver support to offset rising fuel costs. Starting March 1, 2026, the maximum cashback rate has been raised to 15%. For purchases of Ukrainian-made goods, cashback now stands at either 5% or 15%, depending on market conditions.
Fuel Cashback and Utility Subsidies
From March 20, 2026, Ukrainians can claim cashback on fuel: 5% for autogas, 10% for gasoline, and 15% for diesel. The monthly cap for fuel cashback is 1,000 hryvnias per person, designed to ease the financial strain on households as fuel prices climb.
Additionally, utility subsidies remain available for individuals earning less than 17,000 hryvnias per month. These subsidies are granted for six-month periods, with separate allocations for the warm season and the heating season, allowing recipients to adjust to seasonal utility expenses.
Entrepreneurs can receive up to 15,000 hryvnias to purchase generators or solar panels, boosting energy independence. For apartment buildings, grants of up to 300,000 hryvnias are available for installing autonomous power systems, further enhancing energy self-sufficiency and reducing electricity costs.
In summary, Ukraine's revamped 2026 financial aid programs aim to support the population amid rising prices and promote energy independence, marking a key step in the country's socio-economic development.
These measures are expected to reduce the financial burden on households and businesses, fostering stability in the face of ongoing economic challenges.
