Kyiv residents have radically changed their opinion about the EU and the USA - survey.
The presidency of American leader Donald Trump did not positively influence the military developments in Ukraine, as European allies turned out to be more stable than overseas partners. This became known from a survey among Kyiv residents conducted by journalists from Novyny.LIVE.
Kyiv residents preferred relations with the EU
One of the capital's residents, Hanna, previously had a positive attitude towards American allies but later changed her view regarding President Trump. She believes that the European Union will be a better partner for Ukraine, as it acts rationally and provides support.
However, another Kyivan, Serhii, is not surprised by the USA's attitude towards Ukraine on the international stage. He is convinced that the country should solve its internal problems independently, without expecting external assistance.
Other residents of Kyiv also share the opinion that the weight of the situation in Ukraine should be addressed with their own efforts, rather than waiting for support from other countries, thereby worsening relations with global partners.
The conducted survey among Kyiv residents showed that the majority of the capital's inhabitants consider the European Union to be a more stable and reliable partner for Ukraine compared to the United States. Some residents believe that internal problems of the country should be solved independently and that assistance from other countries should not be expected.Read also
