Kyiv without electricity: over 5.8 thousand houses affected by the attack.
According to inkorr.com: The head of the Kyiv city military administration, Timur Tkachенко, reported that more than 5.8 thousand houses in Kyiv were left without electricity due to a mass attack from Russia.
Situation in the capital
The most difficult situation is observed on the left bank of the capital, where not only electricity has disappeared but also water supply. Power outages also occurred in the Holosiivskyi, Pecherskyi, and Solomianskyi districts. These areas have been severely affected, although the situation is less critical in other parts of Kyiv.
Due to the lack of electricity, the movement of trams and trolleybuses has been partially halted. The priority for restoration work is to reconnect social infrastructure and city communications. Only after this will electricity supply to residential buildings be restored.
Government promises
The government assures that water supply in Kyiv and the Kirovohrad region may be restored by the end of the day. Prime Minister Yuliya Svyrydenko noted that critically important facilities in the capital have already been restored. These statements raise hope for the citizens and help restore calm in the situation.
Thus, over 5.8 thousand houses in Kyiv were left without electricity as a result of a massive attack from Russia. The worst situation is currently on the left bank, where water supply has also been disrupted. The head of the city administration, Timur Tkachенко, confirmed the existence of problems in the capital and promised that the water supply would be restored by the end of the day.
