Kyiv's Desnianskyi District Welcomes New 24/7 Supermarkets.
Kyiv Launches Round-the-Clock Supermarkets
According to Novyny.live: On January 30, Maksym Bakhmatov announced via Telegram the opening of several 24-hour supermarkets in Kyiv's Desnianskyi district. These stores offer residents a place to buy groceries, take a break, and charge their electronic devices. This initiative is part of a broader effort to maintain essential services for citizens during challenging times.
Store Locations
The 'Silpo' chain stores are operating at the following addresses:
- 61/2 Mykoly Zakrevskoho Street
- 91/29a Honore de Balzac Street
A VARUS supermarket is located at 44a Chervonoi Kalyny Street, and a NOVUS store operates at 85 Chervonoi Kalyny Avenue. Furthermore, ATB supermarkets have also opened their doors at several locations, including on Lisovyi Avenue and Chervonoi Kalyny Avenue.
Overnight, these supermarkets function as 'Points of Invincibility,' providing residents not only with the ability to purchase necessary goods but also with the opportunity to charge their gadgets. Maksym Bakhmatov expressed gratitude to Taras Vysotskyi, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine, for his assistance and support in facilitating business operations in the Desnianskyi district.
The opening of 24-hour supermarkets in the Desnianskyi district represents a significant step in ensuring access to products and services for the population. This is particularly crucial when many people may have limited access to their usual retail outlets due to various circumstances. The 'Points of Invincibility' format underscores the joint efforts of the state and businesses to support citizens, ensuring not just basic needs but also the ability to stay connected through device charging stations.
