Maxim Bahmatov

Maxim Isanovich Bahmatov (stage name - Eisbrecher Bahmatov) - Ukrainian entrepreneur, advisor to the mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko. He was the former managing partner of the innovation park UNIT.City, and former director of the Ukrainian National Expo Center.
Previously - Ukrainian television presenter, entertainer, KVN player (1996-2005), author, resident of the Ukrainian Comedy Club (2006-2007).
Place of birth. Education. Born on October 20, 1978, in the city of Ust-Kamchatsk in the Kamchatka region of the RSFSR.
In 2000, he graduated from Kyiv International University with a degree in International Economics, and in 2003 he earned an MBA from IMI.
Career. The first entry in his employment record was supervisor at the BTL agency Light Promotion.
Since 1998, he worked at the mobile communications company MTS, progressing from a call center operator to a leading expert in the dealer network.
From 2002 to 2003 - Business Development Director at Leo Burnett agency.
From 2003 to 2005 - Sales Manager at Samsung in the Baltic countries.
In 2005, Bahmatov, together with his former classmate Eduard Zinger, founded the IT company UkrGerman Enterprise (UGE). In the summer of 2014, UGE attracted interest from the leading Ukrainian software company - SoftServe. The joint project was valued at over 2 million US dollars.
Creative Career. KVN. Since his student days, he has been involved in the creative field of clubs for funny and witty. From 1996 to 2005, he was the director and captain of the KVN teams 'DIPKORPUS', Kiev-Kirovograd Combined Team, Kiev 'Alaska Combined Team', which received various prestigious creative awards and titles during this period: Kiev Champion 1998, Open Slobozhansky League Champion-2001, 2003, Highest Ukrainian League Champion 2005.
Comedy Club in Ukraine. Since February 2006, Bahmatov took over the development of the Comedy Club project in Ukraine, where he became a co-founder, general producer, and resident. He developed his own creative concept for marketing and advertising, opened eight regional offices of the company with over 100 employees. The first 22 episodes aired on the Inter channel from September 9, 2006, to February 10, 2007. The second season had 14 episodes, aired from March 30 to July 8, 2007, on the 1+1 channel. That year, the project received the prestigious creative award 'Golden Feather' as the best TV entertainment show in Ukraine. In 2007, disagreements arose between Maxim Bahmatov and his business partners on creative and organizational issues. Bahmatov left Comedy Club UA to focus on his own creative television projects.
Ledokol Bakhmatov Group. In 2008, he founded the company Ledokol Bakhmatov Group. That same year, together with designer and 3D artist Alexey Martynenko, he established the company NII VFX (3D animation and post-production studio), which became part of the Ledokol Bakhmatov Group. In June 2009, he invited investor Mohammad Zahur and established the joint venture Ledokol Istil. This creative team developed well-known TV projects.
In September 2008, the weekly broadcast of the first Ukrainian pseudodocumentary sketch show 'Ukraintsi Afigennye (UA)' began on ICTV, with Maxim Bahmatov serving as the idea creator and main producer. The materials were presented to the audience as documentary, although they were all fictional. After some time, the show started airing on the TET channel.
In October 2009, the ironic political show 'Show without a Name' began on the K-1 channel with famous singer and composer Kuzma Skryabin. An old garage was chosen as the main television venue, where the main characters discussed various news and daily life issues in Ukraine.
In the fall of 2009, the first daily ironic comedy cooking show 'Bulki' began on the M-1 channel, hosted by Valeria Bordo. Viewers were presented with humorous and light-hearted recipes for various dishes. A total of 250 episodes of the cooking show aired.
On April 1, 2010, the premiere of the show 'Friday. Evening' aired on the Ukraina channel. Maxim Bahmatov was hosted by renowned musician Valery Kharchishin. The guests of the first episode were Savik Shuster, Ivan Dorn, and Vlad Yama.
On June 18, 2015, Maxim Bahmatov was appointed executive general director of the State Ukrainian National Expo Park. In April 2016, he was appointed general director of NUO.
On March 21, 2017, he left the management of the Expo Park.
From April 2017 to September 2019, he was managing partner of the innovation center UNIT.City in Kyiv.
In September 2018, he was appointed to the supervisory board of the multiplex cinema network.
On September 23, 2019, Mayor Vitali Klitschko appointed Maxim Bahmatov as an advisor.
In June 2020, Maxim Bahmatov resigned from his position as advisor to the mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko.
Family. Married, has three children.
Interests. Professional swimming. He participated in the European Swimming Championship in Eindhoven in September 2013.
