Construction Restart by Kyivmiskbud

According to Novyny.live: After a halt that began in 2022, Kyivmiskbud is restarting construction on 24 projects, with a strong focus on socially vital housing for military personnel and employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Among the key developments are 'Podil Grad', 'Gvardiyskyi', 'Rayduzhnyi', and Freedom.

Socially Vital Housing Focus

Special attention is being given to socially important residential projects such as 'Oberih-2', 'Twin House', and 'Urlivskyi-1'. The company has pledged not to neglect high-readiness projects like Mirax and 'Medovyi'. To ensure the successful completion of stalled housing complexes, 24 working groups have been established.

In December 2025, Kyivmiskbud received 2.56 billion UAH in capital investments, reflecting ongoing support for the construction sector amid current challenges. The company's strategy is coordinated by Petro Panteleyev, with operational management led by Valeriy Zasutsky. These actions signal Kyivmiskbud's intent to ramp up housing construction and address the needs of the population during a difficult period.

Resuming construction is a significant step in the context of Ukraine's socio-economic situation, especially given the housing needs of military and law enforcement personnel. By concentrating on socially vital housing and attracting capital investments, the company aims to improve living conditions and create new jobs in the construction industry—a critical need in the present environment. These efforts may also serve as a model for other enterprises seeking to revive economic activity across the country.
