Kyivstar Revises 'SIM for Devices' Plan: New Pricing and Features.
Kyivstar Announces Updates to Its 'SIM for Devices' Tariff
According to Novyny.live: Mobile operator Kyivstar has announced a revision of its 'SIM for Devices' plan, with the new terms taking effect on March 1, 2026. This update represents a significant shift for customers, involving both a price increase and an expansion of service allowances.
Under the new conditions, the daily tariff rate will double from 1 hryvnia to 2 hryvnias. In exchange, subscribers will receive a larger daily data allowance, which increases from 30 MB to 50 MB. The plan also enhances communication limits, raising the daily SMS quota from 30 to 50 messages and increasing the number of minutes for calls within the Kyivstar network from 30 to 50 per day.
Additional Terms and New Features
It is important to note that the cost for outgoing calls while roaming will be set at 1 hryvnia per minute. For those planning to send messages abroad, a new SMS bundle will be available, offering 10 messages for 10 hryvnias. Regarding data, the cost for CSD (Circuit Switched Data) technology after the non-tariffed volume is exhausted will be 1 hryvnia per minute.
The updated terms also include free access to the 'State in a Smartphone' and 'Knowledge Without Borders' services, highlighting the company's aim to provide added value without extra charges. These changes to the 'SIM for Devices' plan could significantly impact users who rely on Kyivstar's services for daily connectivity. Such tariff adjustments are common in the competitive telecom sector as operators balance rising costs with customer needs.
While the price is rising, the accompanying service expansions are designed to maintain customer satisfaction. Subscribers should review the new terms carefully, as they will affect communication budgets and future provider choices.
