Tragedy at the training ground in Dnipropetrovsk region
The State Bureau of Investigation has opened a criminal case regarding the death and injury of Ukrainian servicemen due to a Russian missile strike on a training ground in Dnipropetrovsk region.
The SBI emphasizes the need for a detailed and impartial investigation to determine all the circumstances of the tragedy and to punish those responsible.
The Commander of the Ground Forces Drapaty also confirmed the strike on the training ground in Dnipropetrovsk region and announced an inspection.
The court has extended the detention of MP Shevchenko
The Pechersky District Court of Kyiv has extended the detention of MP Yevgeniy Shevchenko. The parliament member will remain in pre-trial detention until May 1 without the possibility of bail.
On November 14, 2024, Yevgeniy Shevchenko received a notice of suspicion for treason. It is noted that the MP had posted statements on social media aimed at harming Ukraine’s information security.
In particular, Shevchenko urged President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to start a dialogue with Russia. He also claimed about repression against MPs and promised to submit a draft law to the Rada to stop 'political persecution'.
Grossi commented on the rotation of staff at the Zaporizhzhia NPP through occupied territories
General Director of the IAEA Rafael Grossi stated that the rotation of experts of the International Atomic Energy Agency at the Zaporizhzhia NPP through the occupied territories of Ukraine was a necessary measure to protect the agency's employees.
This decisive action by Grossi was due to numerous events that made clear to him that he could not risk the lives of his experts.
The IAEA Director General emphasized that he discussed the issue of rotation at the ZNPP with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha. Therefore, this was a collective decision by the IAEA, not a unilateral one.
The High Anti-Corruption Court has confiscated assets of pro-Russian political scientist Serhiyenko
The High Anti-Corruption Court has transferred to state revenue the property of the pro-Russian political scientist and staff member of the Bundestag deputy from the far-right party 'Alternative for Germany' Volodymyr Serhiyenko.
This concerns a 50% share of an apartment in Lviv and a 50% share in the statutory capital of LLC 'Helth Care Ukraine'.
According to the Ministry of Justice, Serhiyenko systematically uses media platforms to spread Russian propaganda, misinformation, and manipulations that threaten the national security of Ukraine.
