According to Korrespondent.net: China recently conducted two space launches: the first was the deployment of a group of low-orbit internet satellites, and the second was the new earth observation satellite Yaogan-47.

First launch

The first launch took place from the Taiyuan launch site in Shanxi province. The modified Changzheng-6 (Long March-6) launch vehicle put the 15th group of low-orbit internet satellites into orbit. According to reports, these devices were developed and manufactured by the China Academy of Space Technology. As a result, China's state satellite internet network now counts over 110 satellites.

Second launch

The second launch occurred the same day from the Jiuquan launch site in the Gobi Desert, where the Changzheng-4B (Long March-4B) launch vehicle placed the Yaogan-47 earth observation satellite into orbit. This device is intended for studying land resources, monitoring the environment, urban planning, assessing agricultural efficiency, as well as for preventing natural disasters and mitigating their consequences.

Moreover, information has emerged that Ukrainian intelligence previously reported China's support for Russia in organizing strikes against Ukraine, particularly regarding the transfer of satellite data for conducting missile attacks.

At the same time, it was reported that Chinese satellites had observed events in Ukraine during Russia's missile and drone strike.

These space launches highlight China's activity in the field of space technology and their significance for global satellite communication. Despite growing geopolitical tensions, China continues to develop its space program, which may have broad implications at both regional and global levels.
