Chinese prisoners of war mentioned an unexpected advantage of the Ukrainian army over the Russian.
Two prisoners of war from China, Wang Guangjun and Zhang Renbo, stated that the Ukrainian military has better logistical support than the Russian army. They noted the absence of restrictions and oppression, as well as good food quality and accessible medical care. One of the prisoners emphasized that the military's logistics are an important factor for victory, and he believes in the Ukrainian army. It was also revealed that he decided to serve in the Russian army to earn more money, but he had not yet been paid due to account freezes. This information became known after the interrogation of the two Chinese citizens detained by the Ukrainian Security Service. The prisoner who served on the side of Russia also noted that the attitude of the Ukrainian security forces towards him was better than that towards the Russian military.
Analysis: The confirmation by the Chinese prisoners of war about the better logistical support of the Ukrainian military highlights the high level of organization of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This shows that the Ukrainian army provides not only combat operations but also comfortable conditions for its troops. Russia's failure to fulfill its obligations to pay salaries to the POWs indicates problems and degradation in the Russian army. Such testimonies can serve as additional arguments in favor of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the conflict with the Russian Federation.
