Leaders of the European Union expressed their readiness to assist Ukraine after the end of the war. Among the measures they are prepared to take are the protection of Ukrainian skies and maritime spaces, as well as support in restoring the Ukrainian army. This was reported on the official website of the UK government on Sunday, August 17.
The Coalition of Willing is ready to support Ukraine
The President of France and the Prime Minister of Britain led a virtual meeting of the leaders of the 'Coalition of the Willing' with the participation of the President of Ukraine. Macron and Starmer discussed support for Ukraine, peace negotiations, and future consultations with the presidents of other countries. The leaders reaffirmed their support for Ukraine and their shared intentions to ensure the security and restoration of the Armed Forces of the country.
Interestingly, the European Union has shown readiness to assist Ukraine, supporting it in the fight for peace and restoration. The mentioned 'Coalition of the Willing' has also proposed assistance to the country. This could be an important step in ensuring security and stability in the region after the conflict in eastern Ukraine concludes.
