When will the Lviv airport start operating.

Since the beginning of the war, news has been appearing more frequently that at least one airport in Ukraine will soon be opened. For example, the Lviv airport. This was even reported by the city's mayor, Andriy Sadovyi.

However, this possibility is being considered and is not guaranteed. This decision was also influenced by the visit of Israeli specialists. They monitored the situation regarding the opening of the airports "Lviv" and "Boryspil".

After analyzing the situation, they unequivocally said that air communication should be opened immediately. Because we are losing many opportunities. And if we do not restore air communication in 2024, we will lose it altogether.

However, the Air Force did not react so positively to this idea. 

Before opening any airport, it is necessary to assess the threats and dangers, as cities in western Ukraine are still being shelled by Russia.
