The team of the new President of the United States, Donald Trump, believes that there will be no significant progress in resolving the war between Russia and Ukraine in the next six months. This opinion was expressed by Trump's advisers, as reported in The Washington Post.
During the presidential campaign, Trump promised to end the war within 24 hours, and his envoy for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg, hoped to find a solution within 100 days, but no progress has yet been made.
Many advisers believe that there will most likely be no significant changes in resolving the conflict over the next six months.
The New York Times previously predicted what kind of agreement Trump would reach regarding Ukraine. Most officials acknowledge that Russia would leave its troops in approximately 20% of the occupied territory of Ukraine as part of something similar to the 1953 truce that ended the Korean War.
