The commander of the Christian unit 'Brotherhood' spoke about a miracle in war.
Volunteers of 'Brotherhood' believe in prayer during military operations
In the military unit 'Brotherhood', which belongs to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, only Christians of different denominations serve - Protestants, Catholics, and Orthodox. For these soldiers, faith is not only a source of moral support but also a motivation to perform dangerous tasks. The commander of the unit, Oleksiy Serdyuk, stated in his interview that it is prayer that helps them find strength in the hardest moments.
When things get tough, the fighters find new strength in prayer and continue to fight. 'Brotherhood' often has to work alongside other units. And they all notice that their losses turn out to be smaller than their counterparts.
Oleksiy Serdyuk describes amazing cases that happened during combat operations. He recalls a situation when enemy tanks passed directly over the basements where the 'Brotherhood' fighters were located. Even during shelling, they all remained unharmed and uninjured.
When our guys went to the front line, enemy aviation and drones attacked them. We started using EW for the first time, but we were not even sure that it could cope with the drones due to different frequencies. But miraculously, drones fell like flies, missiles from planes, KABs... And not a single fighter died, not even anyone was injured. It was incredible.
Ukrainian airborne troops and border guards actively continue to resist the occupiers, repelling their attacks and freeing compatriots from captivity. The invaluable work of the military serves as a source of inspiration for all citizens who support the fight for independence.
